Maybe you have seen the fabulous film about Quenn and Freddy Mercury, “Bohemian Rhapsody”. In the next exercise, there are many words which disappear. Can you help Freddy to sing the song?
Buddy, you’re a boy, make a big ______
Playing in the ______, gonna be a big man some day
You got mud on your ______, you big disgrace
Kicking your can all over the _____
We will, we will rock you
We will, we will rock you
Buddy, you’re a _____ man, hard man
Shouting in the street, gonna take on the ______ some day
You got ______ on your face, you big disgrace
Waving your ______ all over the place
We will, we will rock you
We will, we will rock you
Buddy, you’re an old man, _____ man
Pleading with your _____, gonna make you some peace some day
You got mud on your face, you big _______
Somebody better _____ you _____ into your place
We will, we will rock you
We will, we will rock you
We will, we will rock you
We will, we will rock you
I must say, in my experience, music and songs are a great way to practice english with children, not only listening and speaking, but also as a way to learn new vocabulary.
ResponderEliminarIn fact, i remember that i used this song back when i was working as an english teacher a few years ago and it worked very well. The kids enjoyed the activity and everything went smoothly.
Well done!
